Becoming a ski instructor is a challenging and extremely rewarding experience. ... and it all starts by taking the Level One Course!

Ski Instructor training is also a great way to tune up your personal skiing and understanding to self correct.


The Level One Course is an introductory course that is a minimum requirement for being employed as a ski instructor. It is 25 hours in length, including the online workshops.

Level 1 combines the basics of practical ski teaching methods, technical understanding and development of guest service skills, specifically addressing children's skiing. Courses run throughout the season with many areas offering numerous dates to choose from. Please refer to the course dates page for the area best suited for you.
